I Live!

Hey guys, long time no see. I know I haven’t been very active lately (or at all) and there’s two reasons for this.

The first is I moved into the dorms finally! (YAY!) This means I’m just around the corner from the base now and I don’t have to apply sunscreen just to walk to and from it and my bed. The only bad thing is the dorms don’t have internet. Thus I have to be at the base to make updates.

This is where I used to live.

The second reason is I just went through the repentance and forgiveness week. If that doesn’t sound intense to you, you my friend need to look up the definitions of those words. Anyway it all culminated on Friday where we all came together with two lists, things we needed to repent of and people we needed to forgive. Then we sat in a chair in front of everyone with our speaker on one side and our leader on the other and read them out loud. Needless to say there was crying involved. A lot of crying.

I’ve been thinking about a lot of things since then and one of them is Why don’t we do this more often? I was thinking I could get together with some trusted people and do this again.

In other news it was Australia Day on Saturday. There were fireworks. It was awesome.

Also there’s a gigantic spider in the corner of the auditorium. I call him Ferdinand.
